Oxfam ‘Dressed By The Kids Day 2017’ Challenge

Calling all bloggers and campaign leaders!  I want your help to have some fun, raise some money and share some blog love!

June 16th is ‘Dressed By The Kids Day’ – a campaign Oxfam are running to raise much needed money to help end worldwide poverty.  As someone with Crohn’s disease I have seen the terrible effects that dehydration, weight loss and malabsorption have on the body.  There are people in the world who face these symptoms daily, merely down to the fact they don’t have enough food and water.

For every £1 given to Oxfam…

  • 42p goes towards development work
  • 37p goes towards emergency response work
  • 3p goes towards campaigning for change
  • 10p goes towards support and running costs
  • 8p goes towards fundraising costs

I want to ask everyone to join me in letting your kids dress you for the day.  If you don’t have your own children you can ask your nieces, nephews, grandchildren or friend’s children so there is no excuse!  You will pay £2 which will go to Oxfam’s fundraising efforts and during the day of Friday 16th June I will be sharing all your photos of what you are wearing on my social media accounts and blog page.  If you run a blog/FB page or campaign I would be happy to share your links to get them a little attention too!

There are two weeks for you to sign up, just drop me a message. I will then send you the information for the day and tell you how to make your donation.  I can’t wait to see what the kids pick out for us.  Also slightly terrified at the same time!

Please join me in raising some money, having a little fun and getting some awareness of our blogs and campaigns out there!  Looking forward to hearing from you!
