The Spoonie Mummy Reviews – Stoma Style
Since the weather has started improving I’ve had some issues with underneath my stoma bag getting sweaty, especially when I wear high waisted trousers. This makes me uncomfortable and even though it’s not smelly it is unpleasant to feel ‘damp’ underneath my bag and I worry it could cause issues with the bag sticking to me.
Thinking of ways to combat this I decided to try a bag cover to see if that would help. I had seen recommendations for ‘Stoma Style’ so I contacted Lisa who runs the page. I told her about my issue and she agreed that a cotton cover might help. She had an offer running at the time so I ordered four different covers for the price of three. I chose different colours and patterns so I could try and match them with my outfits. Style priorities ha ha!
Lisa kept me informed of my order progress at all times. She told me as it was the Easter holidays and her little one was off school she had a slightly slower turnaround time but I was really impressed with the speed with which she completed the order and I was not waiting long at all. Once she had finished my covers she sent me a photo to make sure I was happy before posting them out.
I’ve now used all four and am really happy with them! They definitely seem to have helped my sweating issue as the back of my bag is no longer against my skin which I’m really pleased about.
