blogtober – welcome to blogtober

Wow – who can believe we are already in October? I feel like this year is flying by but then thinking about all that has happened, I also think it has gone super slow!

If you are a blogger or have followed me for a while, you will know that October means #Blogtober time! For anyone that doesn’t know what Blogtober is, it means that for every day of October, I will be posting a blog post. Crazy right? I have attempted this before and not managed it but am giving it another go so fingers crossed for me!

I thought a nice way of introducing Blogtober would be to share some of my fellow bloggers who are also taking part. I hope that you will check them out and see the wealth of information, advice, reviews, recommendations and everything else that we all post about!

Problems and Projects

Together, we navigate DIY home renovations. We make mistakes and clean up messes as we work to pay down the debt that the last two years of motherhood and ownership of The Pit have incurred. Our goal is to find financial stability and help you do the same! In the future, look forward to a variety of posts designed to help you avoid our mistakes! We will showcase our home improvement and maintenance projects. We will also share our current debt situation and give you a public window into our real life debt and finances.

Tea and Cake For The Soul

Welcome,  join me for a cuppa and let’s chat about the nicer things in life.

At Tea & Cake for the Soul I like to write about art, travel, books, and of course cake. I also discuss important matters such as eco issues, share household and money-saving tips, and offer ideas of how to promote kindness and improve your wellbeing.

As the name suggests, a bit of comfort food for the soul, so please settle down in a nice comfy chair and have a look around.

A Phoenix Journey

I always found a phoenix rising from its own ashes was a fascinating idea for a creature. But it also took on a new meaning to me when I got sick; I wanted to be like a phoenix. I want to believe that the days when I am in too much pain to get out of bed or the days when I have been suicidal, those are the ashes. I want to believe that the best of my life is still to come and that, like the Phoenix, I will come through it all stronger than ever.

A Phoenix Journey

Seeking Serenity and Harmony

Welcome. Grab your favorite drink and take a seat and lets get to know each other. I started this blog in hopes of the lessons I’ve learned in life have given me wisdom and experience that I can help make the journey a bit less painful for others who are struggling. Please bear with me as this is still a work in progress.

Get comfortable and read. Check out my blog and follow along with my journey. On my blog I write about the reality of many with chronic illness. I write about home making, homesteading as well as  parenting while struggling. Pull up your favorite comfy chair. Relax, put your feet up and I hope you enjoy your visit to my website.
