Birthday Interview – Leo Turns 12

So my big boy is one step closer to being a teenager today and is turning 12! I cannot believe how fast this last 12 years have gone and I feel like I remember every bit of this day from 12 years ago so vividly.

This year I decided to start the birthday interviews on my blog. You can see Little Lady’s here from earlier in the year and Riley’s is coming up too. I can’t wait to be able to look back on these in years to come and see how their answers change!

So there we go for another year! Some of these answers surprised me (Russia?!) but there was quite a few I could have guessed too. When I asked him his best friend it made me smile when he mentioned Connor – this is a new boy he has made friends with since starting senior school in September. Although he started with two boys he had been at primary school with, it is so nerve-wracking to think that they might be lonely, so it is so good to hear he is making good friends. It is strange to think that me and my best friend met at Leo’s age and we are still great friends today – it just shows how important these friendships can be.

He is celebrating today with his Dad and I get him tomorrow – I cannot wait for big birthday snuggles and fun! Take care and keep safe everyone,
