As | Gifted from @netgalley Today on the blog you can check out my Christmas book reviews! Find out which one of these gave me a shock and which I picked as my Christmas fave for 2019! Link in bio
Had some good news last night, my decree nisi has finally been granted. We have been separated for almost four years but with him first refusing to acknowledge receipt of papers to a mess up at the place the papers eventually got filed, it's finally done. Six more weeks and we get the absolute. I'm so happy but it is obviously tainted with mixed emotions. I didn't want to get married and then divorce. I didn't want this for my children especially. It is 100% the right thing and I'm proud of myself for finally standing up and doing it. Healing is still in progress but I am getting there.
Shared this poll on Twitter and would love to hear your opinions too! A comment or DM with your thoughts would be brilliant
New nails ready for Christmas! Love them lots 💜
A friendly reminder from me!
• You are not alone • It sounds obvious but I can guarantee we have all felt alone at one time or another, even if you are stood in a room full of people. It's only when we start to open up and share our experiences that we realise we really do have so much more in common than we ever thought possible. Social media has a bad reputation but personally, it's been a lifeline at times for me. The support I've received from people I have found online suffering from the same conditions as me has, quite literally, saved me. I'm in the lucky position to pay that forward now. What kind of support would you appreciate? A DM conversation? An online course? A website full of hints, tips and helpful advice to navigate your mental health alongside your chronic illnesses? I plan to offer all of these but would love to hear what you want and need!
