The Spoonie Mummy Reviews – Push Poppers

Ad | Gifted

Fidget toys have been popular for a few years now and my boys love them, so when we were asked to try out the newest fidget toy on the block, we jumped at the chance!

This is the Push Popper and it is basically everlasting bubble wrap! If you are like me and my boys, you will love bubble wrap and this works just the same, except you can turn it over and start again when you have pressed all the ‘bubbles’. Lots of fun and great for the environment! We were sent the rainbow and the glow in the dark version, which is lots of fun!

For triose of you who don’t know, my youngest, Riley, who is 9 has been going through evaluation to see if he is on the autistic spectrum. He has really struggled with home schooling due to the lack of routine and having to sit and focus on live lessons. Fidget toys have really helped his concentration while he has had to do live lessons and this was no exception. He was able to watch and listen to his teacher while keeping his hands busy. Even Leo took one up to his bedroom and I found him using it while he was watching a live lesson too!

Not only have the boys been enjoying them but I have too! We sat last weekend and watched the new Netflix film, Yes Day and both me and Leo were sat with one each, popping away while we watched! I find them really calming and a good way to keep my hands busy while I am watching things instead of picking up my phone!

The boys also loved having races to see who could pop all their bubbles the quickest and I have a reel up on my Instagram which you can check out here.

I have seen these ‘popping‘ up on social media more and more and I definitely thing they will be the next craze, and worthily so! Fun and satisfying for both kids and adults, you can get them from Smyths Toy Superstore, Toymaster and Claire’s Accessories. What’s that advert jingle from way back when? Once you pop, you can’t stop! This definitely suits these fun, fidget toys and we highly recommend!

Take care and keep safe everyone,
